Research Interests:

My research interests are in the areas of plant breeding and improvement and conservation genetics. Malaysia is endowed with broad genetic diversity of plant resources especially in food resources, an invaluable asset which could be utilized for crop improvement. At present, my focus is on using molecular techniques as a tools to evaluate the genetic diversity of selected plant germplasm in Sarawak that potentially could be useful for varietal improvement in breeding program in Malaysia.
