Research activities My research focuses on the structure and composition of ecological communities in aquatic ecosystems. The major emphasis is studying the biology, ecology and distribution and the impact on non indigenous fish on native freshwater fishes in Malaysia. It is important to increase awareness of non indigenous invasive species. This is the major issue affecting native biodiversity in all regions of the world.
