Research activities My area of interest is the systematic of marine microorganism, nanoflagellates. The identification of this group of organisms (2-20 µm) is very difficult and almost impossible without the aid of high-powered microscopes. I am also interested on the application of molecular techniques to support morphological data in species identification. Documentation of Malaysian species of nanoflagellates will be my priority and will focus on taxa of economic importance.
